Where it comes from
The husk is the thin skin the bean sheds when roasted. Almost everywhere it is swept off the roaster and thrown away, smelling of chocolate.
Here it is dried and infused, with nothing else. The result is a gentle drink with the aroma of cacao and none of its bitterness.

At first it seemed mild, but letting it steep for five minutes gives it much more flavour. A nice gift.

My mum cannot drink coffee because of her stomach, and for years she had been looking for something hot for the afternoon that was not herbal tea. I sent her the cacao tea almost as an experiment and now she asks me for a bag every month. It smells of chocolate as soon as you open it, but it is not sweet: it is gentle, with a toasted background. She adds a splash of milk and cinnamon. I prefer it plain and cold, over ice, on hot afternoons. The only thing I would ask for is a bigger bag, because in this house it goes in no time.

I drink it in the afternoon instead of coffee and it suits me very well. It smells like chocolate but has no sugar, and with a pinch of cinnamon it's delicious.

It smells of chocolate and has no caffeine, so I drink it at night. I bought it without knowing what husk was and now it is the thing I reorder most.
